Decorating with Pink!

I have to confess. I love pink. The deeper and brighter, the better! There are plenty of ways to bring pink into the home, whether it be in little splashes here and there or dedicating an entire room or wall to this vibrant colour. The key to using pink effectively to avoid looking childish is to balance it with plenty of neutrals: clean, crisp white and shades of gray always complement. One or two pieces is really all you need to instantly bring more life to your space and fulfill that inner pink obsession.
For true pink lovers: Take a piece of furniture and have it upholstered in pink. Take that old garage sale find and transform it or if you’re daring (and have a bigger budget) take an iconic design piece and have it reupholstered. I found an old Knoll Executive armchair and had it redone in a deep fuschia fabric, I absolutely love it!

Undecided? Paint a wall! One of the easiest (and affordable) things you can do. Choose a shade that you love and paint a wall or small nook for maximum impact.

For those shy pink lovers:
Looking for a temporary pink fix or a way to experiment with this colour? Pillows are a great way to add a splash of colour and will easily step up any drab decor.

Don’t be afraid of pink, there’s lots of ways to love it!
