Spring is finally here! It’s the perfect time of year to freshen up your look by adding more colour and prints into your wardrobe. I personally love colour, so it’s just another reason for me to hit the mall and pick up something new and refreshing. The runways for Spring 2012 were filled with trends that are easy to incorporate into anyone’s wardrobe. Don’t shy away, embrace one (or all) of this season’s must have looks!
Flower Power
Spring and flowers go together like peanut butter and jelly and designers this season did not disappoint! Runways were filled with floral prints, from evening wear to casual shorts and dresses, there was something for everyone! If you aren’t a lover of flowered prints, don’t force it or you’ll never be confidant in what you’re wearing. If you do love the idea of adding some flower power into your wardrobe, try something affordably priced so you aren’t investing in something you’ll only wear a handle of times.

Coloured Pants
Coloured pants were introduced in Fall 2011, but the trend is still going strong. The style is evolving and has gone from skinny jeans to wide leg trousers. You can find them in bold, jewel tones or muted pastels, so there’s a pair out there for everyone!

Tribal/Safari
Warm neutrals, animal prints and geometric patterns are all part of the ‘tribal’ look you’ll see straight off runways and in stores this Spring. It’s a look that I think will appeal to many people, considering the colours are soft and complementary and you can choose how much or how little pattern you want to wear. If you can’t commit to all-over pattern, an animal printed clutch or a tribal inspired necklace is all you need to embrace this hot trend.
